OUR MISSION
The Recorder is committed to providing outstanding customer service and excellence in maintaining and preserving Will County land records.
The Recorder's Office records legal documents such as deeds, mortgages, plats of subdivision, liens, releases, and military discharges. Fees for these services are set by State statute and County ordinance.
Documents are entered into our computer system, imaged, and microfilmed for permanent archival storage. All original documents are returned to their rightful owners.
Information about property may be searched through the records contained in the archives. Copies are available, and our staff will assist you in beginning your search.
You may also search for your documents via the internet with our new Online NAME Search, which helps you identify documents that are recorded in your name. For copies or further information about these documents, please visit or call our office.
